The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising construction activities, ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings, safety standards, and project specifications. The role involves planning, execution, quality control, and coordination with contractors, workers, and management for smooth project progress.
2. Key Responsibilities Site Execution & Supervision
Monitor daily construction activities at the site.
Ensure execution of work according to drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications.
Manage labour, materials, and equipment on-site.
Quality Control
Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain proper documentation of quality checks and test reports.
Planning & Coordination
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
Assist the Project Manager in preparing work schedules and timelines.
Material & Resource Management
Check and verify material requirements as per planned activities.
Monitor material usage and prevent wastage.
Maintain stock registers and site records.
4. Qualifications
Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
1-5 years of experience in site supervision (experience requirement can be adjusted).
Knowledge of building regulations and standards.
