We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential or commercial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site execution, coordination with contractors and consultants, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities at the site.
Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, structural consultants, and other stakeholders.
Monitor work progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Ensure quality control of materials and workmanship as per standards and specifications.
Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and machinery efficiently.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and execution-related issues.
Ensure compliance with safety norms, statutory regulations, and site safety practices.
Verify measurements and assist in certification of contractor bills.
Maintain site records, drawings, checklists, and documentation.
Support senior engineers and project managers in achieving project milestones.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Familiarity with safety standards and site best practices.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage).
Qualifications:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
3-5 years of relevant site execution experience, preferably in residential or mixed-use projects.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in apartment or plotted development projects.
Exposure to RCC, finishing works, and MEP coordination.
Reporting To:
Project Manager / Senior Site Engineer
Compensation:
As per industry standards and experience.
