Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Site Engineer (Civil) to manage day-to-day on-site construction activities. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in strict accordance with engineering designs and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Execution:

Oversee daily construction activities to ensure they align with project specifications, approved drawings, and timelines.

Technical Advice:

Provide solutions for unexpected technical challenges and resolve design errors or site condition discrepancies.

Site Preparation:

Perform setting out, leveling, and surveying activities to mark out site locations for infrastructure.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular inspections and material tests to ensure work meets industry standards and local building codes.

Safety Management:

Enforce health and safety protocols (e.g., OSHA) to maintain a hazard-free work environment for all personnel.

Resource Management:

Manage the allocation of materials, labor, and equipment to optimize productivity and control costs.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate site diaries, progress reports, and quality control records for management and stakeholders.

Liaison:

Coordinate effectively with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and local authorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:

0 - 1 years.

Software Proficiency:

Skilled in AutoCAD, MS Office.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of construction methods, soil mechanics, and structural principles.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.

License:

A valid driver's license is often required for travel between sites.
