Translate drawings into actual on-site execution.
Identify discrepancies and coordinate for clarifications.
2. Site Setting-Out & Preparation
Conduct site surveys and levels.
Set out building lines, levels, and alignment.
Ensure the site is prepared as per approved drawings.
3. Daily Site Supervision
Supervise contractors, workers, and skilled labour.
Monitor day-to-day execution of civil works.
Ensure work is carried out as per quality standards and timeline.
4. Quality Control & Compliance
Check materials and workmanship quality.
Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety norms & codes.
Raise NCRs (Non-Compliance Reports) when needed.
5. Material & Resource Management
Coordinate material requisition, usage, and stock updates.
Plan labour, tools, and equipment required for work.
Track site progress and report delays.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily site reports, measurements, and progress logs.
Assist in preparing bills, BOQ verifications, and contractor billing.
Update site photos and records.
7. Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Communicate with consultants, architects, and project managers.
Support inspections and approvals from authorities where needed.
8. Safety Implementation
Enforce site safety standards and PPE compliance.
Conduct toolbox talks and maintain safety checklists.
Report hazards and ensure corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
(preferred)
Diploma in Civil Engineering
(accepted for 4-5 years of experience)
Minimum
2-4 years of site execution experience
Knowledge of
AutoCAD
, levelling instruments, MS Office.
Required Skills
Understanding of civil drawings & specifications
Basic surveying knowledge (levels, alignment, plumb)
Strong communication & coordination skills
Ability to manage labour & contractors
Knowledge of quality standards (M20 concrete, curing methods, shuttering quality etc.)
Problem-solving on site
Safety awareness
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Knowledge of billing, measurements & BOQ
Experience in residential/commercial building projects
Familiarity with site audits & checklists
Basic project planning understanding
