Civil Engineer - Real Estate Development

Site Engineer

for Jind, Haryana.

Overview:

A Civil Engineer in the real estate sector plays a crucial role in the

planning & Scheduling , Budgeting, Organize, design, and execution

of Residential - real estate projects. They ensure that the structural, infrastructural, and environmental aspects of developments meet technical standards, legal requirements, and client expectations -- from land development to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Design:

Prepare site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, and road networks for real estate developments. Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and planners to create sustainable and cost-effective designs.

Site Assessment & Feasibility Studies:

Conduct topographical and geotechnical investigations to evaluate land suitability for construction. Analyze zoning regulations, soil conditions, and infrastructure availability.

Construction Supervision:

Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and local building codes. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to manage quality, timelines, and budgets.

Infrastructure Development:

Design and manage essential infrastructure such as roads, water supply, sewage, and stormwater systems for housing or commercial projects.

Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities), cost estimates, and material requirements. Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to financial plans.

Regulatory & Compliance:

Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities. Ensure environmental and legal compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaboration & Reporting:

Liaise with developers, architects, contractors, and government agencies. Prepare progress reports, technical documents, and as-built drawings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

Strong understanding of

construction codes, urban planning, and environmental standards

. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Must possess a minimum of

1-5 years

experience of managing and successfully delivering Residential & Commercial construction projects.

Microsoft Excel, Word. Knowledge of Microsoft Projects would be a plus
