Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer (Site Supervisor) to oversee construction projects and ensure work is completed according to design, quality standards, and timelines. The ideal candidate will manage on-site operations, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure timely execution of construction tasks. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, laborers, and other stakeholders. Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications and ensure accurate implementation. Monitor the progress of projects and prepare regular reports for senior management. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and building regulations. Manage materials, labor, and equipment at the site to ensure optimal resource use. Address site issues or delays by proposing effective solutions. Conduct site inspections and quality control to ensure construction standards are met. Maintain site records including daily logs, attendance, and material usage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. Proven experience (2+ years) as a site supervisor or civil engineer on construction projects. Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant civil engineering software is a plus. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with [residential/commercial/infrastructure] projects. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Knowledge of project management tools and techniques. Familiarity with quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).

Work Conditions:

Field-based role with exposure to construction environments. Must be able to work extended hours, including weekends if required.
