Position: Site Engineer (Civil)

Location: Guwahati.

Job Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Site Engineer to oversee and manage all on-site activities of our projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all construction works are carried out according to design, specifications, and local regulations, while maintaining a high level of safety, quality, and efficiency. The role involves working closely with project teams, clients and contractors.

Responsibilities of Site Engineer (Civil) are given below:

1.

Project Supervision

: Oversee construction projects on-site, ensuring that the work is completed according to design specifications etc.

2.

Site Management

: Manage day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Monitor and control labor and material resources.

3.

Quality Control

: Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the construction process.

4.

Health and Safety

: Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, mitigating risks and promoting safe working conditions.

5.

Coordination

: Collaborate with architects, surveyors, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

6.

Progress Reporting

: Prepare and present progress reports, update project timelines, and document any issues or delays to Project Head.

7.

Problem Solving

: Address on-site challenges and technical issues promptly to maintain progress and quality.

8.

Documentation and Compliance

: Ensure that all documentation, including permits, drawings, and compliance with local regulations, are in place and followed.

Work Conditions

:

The role requires working on-site in construction environments, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or in shifts if required to meet project deadlines. The construction site may involve working at heights or in confined spaces or move to project location. The position may require periodic transfers to other project sites, depending on project needs and timelines. The candidate should be open to relocation or travel to various locations as required by the company's project requirements.

Qualification & Skills Required:

1. Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

2. Minimum 15 years of experience in construction with specific experience in Building construction (MEP).

3. Basic knowledge of the related field.

4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform diagnostics and troubleshooting effectively.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.

6. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.

7. Dedication to upholding and adhering to stringent workplace safety standards and guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,244.82 - ₹60,000.00 per month
