We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled

Site Engineer

to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that construction activities are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires hands-on technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication with on-site workers, subcontractors, and the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor on-site construction activities to ensure alignment with drawings, specifications, and schedules. Set out, level, and survey the site as per engineering plans. Ensure technical compliance with structural, architectural, and MEP designs. Coordinate with subcontractors, site workers, and suppliers for smooth execution of work. Conduct inspections and quality control checks for workmanship and materials. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines. Maintain daily site records including work progress, manpower, equipment usage, and material deliveries. Assist in resolving technical issues and site constraints with engineers, consultants, and architects. Support the preparation of progress reports, site instructions, and variation orders. Liaise with local authorities, inspectors, and consultants during site inspections or audits.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction drawings, methods, and safety protocols. Experience in site surveying, setting out, and construction layout. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic project management tools. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently under pressure in a dynamic site environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Sholinganallur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
