Danfoss is looking for SIOP - Planner to join our diverse team Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following SIOP Planners work closely with Operations & team. Responsible for executing the plans and processes developed during the SIOP process. Here are the typical roles and responsibilities of an SIOP Planner: 1. Demand Forecasting: Understand the business insights that contribute to accurate demand forecasts. Utilize historical data and market trends to verify the demand projections for various products or Value stream 2. Supply Planning: Assist in developing supply plans based on the demand forecasts, production capacities, and inventory levels. Work closely with production and procurement teams to ensure that supply meets demand. 3. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and align them with target levels established during the SIOP process. Ensure that inventory is maintained at optimal levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs. 4. Production Scheduling: Create production schedules based on the supply plans, taking into consideration production capacities, lead times, and resource availability. 5. Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, production output, and inventory levels to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making. 6. Coordination: Facilitate communication between different departments, such as CSC, Production, and logistics, to ensure that plans are aligned and any changes are effectively communicated. 7. Reporting: Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to SIOP, including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and production efficiency. Provide insights to management on performance and areas needing attention. 8. Process Support: Facilitating SIOP meetings. Contribute to the preparation of materials and data needed for these meetings. 9. New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the introduction of new products into the SIOP process. Ensure that new product launch plans align with overall supply chain strategies. 10. Technology Utilization: Utilize relevant software and tools for demand forecasting, supply planning, and data analysis to support the SIOP process. 11. Problem Solving: Address supply chain disruptions or deviations from plans by identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions. 12. Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving the SIOP process and related workflows. Participate in process improvement initiatives. 13. Ad hoc Tasks: Assist in various ad hoc tasks related to supply chain management, inventory optimization, and process enhancement. 14. Collaboration: Collaborate with the SIOP Manager and other team members to ensure that the SIOP process runs smoothly and efficiently. 15. Learning and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to supply chain and SIOP to enhance job performance. 16. Extended support: Flexible to support the business requirements on call basis during weekends, if needed. The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 1. Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering. 2. 6-10 years\' experience in a manufacturing environment 3. Experience in EMS or automotive is preferred 4. Hands on Knowledge in SAP PP, MM 5. Gets Results 6. Demonstrates a Leadership Style 7. Proactive and organized. 8. Teamwork player 9.
