Position Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA) to support the development of and directly impact the quality of Autodesk Moldflow Simulation products. You will be part of a global world-class team developing products to support Autodesk's suite of cloud / desktop-based Injection Moulding Simulation analysis software.

The position is based out of Pune, India.

You will be testing and interacting with features of Autodesk Injection Moulding simulation software including Autodesk Moldflow Synergy, Autodesk Moldflow Insight, Autodesk Moldflow Adviser and Autodesk Moldflow Communicator

Responsibilities

As a Software QA engineer, you will operate across the entire SDLC to improve the quality of the product. This includes (but is not limited to) the following:

Testing the 3D modelling/engineering application manually as required

Developing acceptance criteria for new and existing features

Manually testing completed features against acceptance criteria

Providing feedback on new feature designs

Executing and Maintaining test automation suites

You will need to verbally (or written) communicate testing outcomes to the development teams and management

You need to be able to work individually or as part of a global team

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor or master's degree in Engineering

Minimum 2 Years' experience working with injection moulding Simulation products

Minimum 3 years' shop floor experience in Injection moulding, or mould design

Enthusiastic about driving continuous improvement to the testing process and framework, ideally through a combination of metrics, observation, and experience

Enthusiastic about improving customer experience

A practitioner certified QA engineer (ISTQB) certificate or similar would be beneficial

You must be able to collaborate well with other people in a global remote agile scrum environment, multitask and maintain high productivity levels

Proficient with using Moldflow Simulation Software

Ability to identify potential injection moulding defects

Technically savvy and able to write test plans from specifications provided by Product Designers/Engineers

Experience with 3D CAD modelling systems

Knowledge of a scripting language (i.e.: Python) would be advantageous

FE Experience i.e., Ansys, Nastran or similar would be advantageous

Knowledge and usage of the interfaces of multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) would be also advantageous
