You will be working as Simulation Engineer and will be part of Robotics and Discrete Automation Business Area for Robot Automotive division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and you will be responsible for designing authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Completing assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects, cost effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements Your responsibilities Working with our teams globally when they have projects that require software modeling of our systems to verify or confirm system JHP, OEE and availability capabilities based on prior systems MTBF, MTTR data Building a data base of common stations and robotic cell process simulations real time data that can be used in better understanding future system layouts and process flow Building the models of assigned system or sub-systems within agreed budget and schedule Updating initial simulations with actual data and working with on-site teams to troubleshoot any areas not meeting original expectations Verifying, validating and executing based on business needs Supporting pre factory acceptance test and factory acceptance test at customer site visit or teams meeting Your background BE or B Tech in Mechanical or electrical Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in plant simulation or modeling Working knowledge of discrete event simulation tools such as flexsim, pro model, plant simulation, process simulate or auto mode Knowledge of Factory Information System (FIS) and experience in multibody dynamic full machine simulation More about us ABB Robotics & Discrete Automation is a pioneer in robotics, machine automation and digital services, providing innovative solutions for a diverse range of industries, from automotive to electronics to logistics.
