Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to lead our silk saree purchasing team. You'll be responsible for sourcing high-quality silk sarees from reputable suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing:
Identify and develop relationships with reliable suppliers of silk sarees.
Negotiation:
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Quality Control:
Ensure silk sarees meet quality standards, inspecting goods before shipment.
Inventory Management:
Manage inventory levels, minimizing waste and ensuring adequate stock.
Supply Chain Management:
Coordinate with logistics team for timely delivery.
Market Research:
Stay updated on market trends, identifying new suppliers and products.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Fashion, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the textile or fashion industry.
