Design Emulation Engineer
THE ROLE:

• As Part of the SOC design verification team you will have technical responsibility for verifying very large and complex next generation AMD SOCs having billions of transistors.
• You will be responsible for understanding the design, defining scenarios that need to be verified, write test cases and checkers using advanced verification tools and methodologies.
• You will be required to debug most challenging failing cases and fix them as required.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the aspect of design that’s assigned to you is fully verified and free of bugs.

THE PERSON:

• Strong self-driving ability
• Should have excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong Programming skills
• Strong emulation experience including compilation, debug, automation, and scripts is must.
• Experience with Emulation systems like Palladium/Veloce is must.
• Strong hands-on experience with C/C++ and System Verilog is must.
• SOC debug experience and exposure to industry standard protocol is desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• SOC level design verification
• SOC Emulation Bring up.
• Development of verification/Emulation infrastructure
• Development of testcases and checkers
• Writing and analyzing coverage
• Debugging of failing cases and fix as required.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• ME/M.TECH or equivalent in VLSI/Microelectronics
