SHOWROOM EXECUTIVEJOB DESCRIPTION

A showroom executive is responsible for assisting customers in selecting furniture within a showroom by understanding their needs, presenting product options, providing expert advice, closing sales, and maintaining a visually appealing showroom environment, all while ensuring a positive customer experience and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities:

Customer interaction: Greet

customers, actively listen to their needs and preferences, and guide them through the showroom to find suitable furniture pieces.

Product knowledge: Possess

in-depth knowledge of all furniture products, including features, specifications, materials, and pricing to effectively answer customer inquiries.

Customer relationship management: Build

rapport with customers, follow up on leads, and maintain ongoing communication to nurture long-term relationships.

Visual merchandising: Ensure

the showroom is well-organized, visually appealing, and displays furniture in a manner that attracts customers and promotes sales.

Inventory management: Monitor

stock levels, identify potential stock shortages, and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely product availability. .

Required skills:

Excellent communication skills: Ability

to engage customers, clearly explain product features, and address concerns effectively.

Customer service orientation: Commitment

to providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Product knowledge: Comprehensive

understanding of furniture styles, materials, construction techniques, and design trends.

Visual merchandising skills: Ability

to create visually appealing displays that showcase furniture effectively.

Basic computer literacy: Proficiency

in using point-of-sale systems, CRM software, and email communication.

Potential work environments: High-end

furniture showrooms, Mid-range furniture retailers, Home decor stores, and Online furniture platforms with physical showrooms.
