Showroom Sales Executive Palakkad

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and organized professional to manage all showroom operations, drive direct sales for both core steel structures and new roofing products/services, and efficiently coordinate regional projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities



1. Sales & Showroom Management



Direct Sales:

Actively engage with walk-in customers and inbound inquiries (calls, emails) to sell the full range of products and services for Yes Yes Roofs (PEBs, Space Frames, Industrial/Commercial Roofing) and Butterfly Roofing (Roofing Tiles and Roof Truss Installation Services.)

Showroom Operations:

Manage the day-to-day running of the showroom, including maintaining product displays (tiles, samples, models), ensuring cleanliness, and managing promotional materials.

Client Consultation:

Provide expert product knowledge, guidance, and customized solutions to clients based on their specific roofing and structural needs.

Lead Generation & Follow-up:

Maintain a robust customer database (CRM), rigorously follow up on sales leads, and prepare detailed quotations and proposals.

Sales Reporting:

Track and report on daily/weekly/monthly sales activities, targets, and customer feedback to the General Manager.

2. Palakkad Regional Project Coordination



Worker Allocation:

Coordinate with the central office and regional site supervisors to ensure the right labor and skill sets are allocated to ongoing projects within the Palakkad region.

Material Availability:

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and the central procurement team to ensure timely availability and delivery of all necessary materials (steel, trusses, tiles, accessories) to project sites.

Cost Control & Documentation:

Assist the Project Manager in tracking on-site expenses, ensuring material usage aligns with cost estimates, and maintaining accurate records of material receipts and consumption.

Client/Site Liaison:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and site supervisors in the Palakkad region for administrative and logistical project-related matters.

3. Administrative & Financial Duties



Manage petty cash and showroom expenditures. Process sales orders, invoices, and payment collections accurately. Maintain comprehensive records of all sales transactions, customer interactions, and project-related documentation. Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence for the branch.

Required Qualifications & Skills



Experience (Mandatory):

Minimum of

2-3 years of proven experience in Sales

, preferably within the building materials, construction, infrastructure, or related B2B/B2C sectors.

Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent practical experience).

Industry Knowledge:

A basic understanding of construction terms, materials (especially roofing and steel), and project lifecycles is highly desirable.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in

English and Malayalam

(knowledge of Tamil is a plus). Must be comfortable giving presentations and technical explanations.

Software Proficiency:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

Personal Attributes:

Highly organized and meticulous with a strong attention to detail. Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven. A pleasant, professional demeanor suitable for a showroom environment. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
