Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience for our clients.

Duties

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring efficient cash handling practices. Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process sales and manage inventory. Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of current market trends and product offerings, particularly in lighting sales. Assist in managing customer accounts and follow up on inquiries or concerns. Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, stocked, and visually appealing to attract customers. Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and enhance overall performance.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or a similar role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures is advantageous. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective customer interaction. Ability to demonstrate upselling techniques and account management skills to maximize sales opportunities. A keen interest in market trends related to lighting and home improvement products is a plus.
