Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Showroom Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new/existing Damro Furniture showroom in Karimnagar. The ideal candidate will be a passionate leader with a deep understanding of the local Karimnagar market, exceptional sales skills, and a talent for creating outstanding customer experiences. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, leading the showroom team, and ensuring the showroom reflects Damro's premium brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Revenue Management:
Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Analyze sales reports, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions.
Drive key initiatives like upselling, cross-selling, and promoting high-margin products.
Understand the local Karimnagar customer demographics and preferences to tailor sales approaches.
Handle key customer accounts and resolve escalated sales or service issues.
2. Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Executives and support staff.
Conduct regular performance reviews and create development plans for team members.
Foster a high-performance, customer-centric, and collaborative team culture.
Manage schedules, shifts, and ensure optimal staffing levels.
3. Customer Experience & Service:
Ensure every customer receives exceptional service, from greeting to post-sale follow-up.
Implement Damro's service standards and resolve customer complaints effectively and professionally.
Gather customer feedback to improve service and product offerings locally.
Build long-term customer relationships and loyalty within the Karimnagar community.
4. Showroom Operations & Visual Merchandising:
Ensure the showroom is impeccably maintained, clean, and fully functional.
Execute planograms and visual merchandising standards to create an appealing and inspiring product display.
Manage inventory levels in coordination with the logistics team, ensuring product availability and minimizing stock-outs or excess.
Oversee the delivery coordination process for a seamless customer experience.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and security standards.
5. Marketing & Local Outreach:
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local promotional activities and events in Karimnagar.
Build relationships with local influencers, interior designers, and contractors to generate B2B leads.
Utilize social media and local networks to increase showroom footfall and brand visibility.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years
of retail management experience, with at least
3 years
in a showroom manager or assistant manager role.
Experience in furniture, home decor, or consumer durables is a significant advantage.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in
Telugu and English
(Hindi is a plus).
In-depth knowledge of the
Karimnagar retail market
and consumer behavior.
Proficiency in MS Office and retail management software.
Desirable:
A keen eye for aesthetics and interior styling.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Customer-focused with a passion for sales and service.
