As the Store Manager at our esteemed light shop, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining the store\'s reputation for offering elegant lighting solutions and providing a delightful shopping experience for our customers. Here\'s an overview of your key responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to staff members to ensure they are equipped with product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Set a high standard for customer service and ensure that every customer interaction reflects the values and ethos of our brand.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels of lighting fixtures and accessories.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source quality products and negotiate favorable terms.
- Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation:
- Ensure that the store layout and displays are visually appealing, organized, and in line with brand standards.
- Implement creative merchandising strategies to highlight product features and promote sales.
- Regularly refresh displays and window showcases to attract customers and drive sales.
- Sales and Performance Management:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Track performance metrics, such as sales KPIs, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Uphold compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers.
- Implement and enforce store policies and procedures related to safety, security, and loss prevention.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the lighting or home decor industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and sales analysis.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Knowledge of lighting products and design trends is an advantage.
