Job Description

A showroom in-charge in the automobile industry is responsible for managing showroom operations, overseeing staff, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring a positive customer experience to meet sales targets and achieve business objectives. Key responsibilities include maintaining an attractive showroom, managing sales staff performance, collaborating with other departments like service and finance, providing product knowledge to customers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities

Staff Management:

Hire, train, motivate, and manage the performance of the sales team, ensuring proper staffing and adherence to dealership policies.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement sales plans, set sales targets, and provide support to help salespeople achieve them.

Customer Experience:

Ensure every customer receives prompt attention, provide expert advice on vehicle features and financing, and manage customer complaints to maintain high satisfaction ratings.

Showroom Presentation:

Maintain the showroom floor's appearance, ensuring it is welcoming, organized, and effectively showcases vehicles.

Product Knowledge:

Stay updated on all vehicle brands, models, and features to provide comprehensive guidance to customers.

Sales Data & Reporting:

Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and prepare reports for management.

Collaboration:

Work closely with finance, service, and other departments to ensure a smooth sales process and efficient operations.

Compliance:

Stay informed about federal, state, and local regulations affecting vehicle sales and ensure the dealership complies with them.
