The Jewellery Showroom Head is responsible for the overall management, operations, sales performance, and customer experience of the showroom. This role ensures smooth day-to-day functioning, achievement of sales targets, staff supervision, inventory control, and maintaining brand standards while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Management
Drive showroom sales and achieve monthly and annual revenue targets
Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives
Monitor sales performance, conversions, and average ticket size
Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value and repeat customers
Customer Experience
Ensure superior customer service and personalized buying experience
Handle customer complaints, escalations, and after-sales issues professionally
Maintain showroom ambiance, display standards, and visual merchandising
Team Leadership & HR Management
Lead, train, and motivate showroom staff including sales executives and support staff
Schedule staff shifts and ensure optimal manpower deployment
Conduct performance evaluations and recommend incentives or corrective actions
Foster a positive, ethical, and performance-driven work culture
Inventory & Operations
Oversee inventory management, stock accuracy, and reconciliation
Ensure proper handling of high-value jewellery and adherence to security protocols
Coordinate with back office for billing, certifications, and documentation
Manage daily cash, banking, and compliance with internal controls
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and hallmarking standards
Maintain records related to audits, insurance, and statutory requirements
Prevent shrinkage, pilferage, and operational risks
Reporting & Administration
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports
Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity
Provide insights and recommendations to management for business growth
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)
5-10 years of experience in jewellery retail, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of gold, diamond, gemstones, and jewellery valuation
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
High integrity, attention to detail, and customer-centric approach
