Key Responsibilities:

Operate

wheel loader / shovel

to load raw materials (aggregates, sand, gravel, etc.) into batching plants, trucks, or stockpiles. Maintain required feeding levels at batching plants for continuous production. Perform pre-operation checks to ensure equipment is in safe and optimal condition. Transport materials within the site while ensuring minimal spillage and safe movements. Monitor material quantities and report low stock levels to supervisors. Keep the loading area, hopper, and workspaces clean and organized. Follow site traffic rules and maintain safe distances from equipment, trucks, and workers. Conduct basic maintenance such as checking oil, coolant, hydraulic levels, and tire condition. Identify mechanical issues and inform the maintenance team immediately. Maintain log sheets, fuel usage reports, and daily inspection records.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong experience in operating

wheel loaders

in industrial or construction environments. Knowledge of aggregate handling, batching plant feeding, and material loading techniques. Ability to maneuver safely in tight and busy work zones. Good understanding of machine controls, hydraulics, and safety features. Alertness, coordination, and ability to work around heavy equipment.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a

Loader/Shovel Operator

(Ready-Mix or similar industry preferred). Operator license or certification for heavy equipment (as per local regulations). Experience with major loader brands (CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Doosan, etc.). Ability to work long shifts, overtime, and in hot weather conditions. Basic communication skills to coordinate with plant operators and supervisors.
