Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled
Shopify Virtual Assistant
with deep Shopify expertise, strong technical understanding, and proven experience managing, optimizing, and supporting Shopify stores.
This role will support our marketing, product, and e-commerce teams by ensuring the website stays up-to-date, error-free, fast, conversion-optimized, and ready for ongoing promotional campaigns.
Experience in the
supplements, wellness, or regulated e-commerce niche
is a strong plus.
This is a remote, full-time role with potential to grow into a long-term postion.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Shopify Store Management
Manage product listings, variants, pricing, inventory updates, and PDP/collection optimizations
Update onsite promotions: announcement bars, landing pages, pop-ups, banners, discounts, and automation triggers
Create and maintain landing pages (Replo, theme editor, custom sections, etc.)
Monitor store performance and resolve technical issues as they arise
Collaborate with our graphic designer and marketing team for new assets and promotions
Technical Shopify Expertise
Modify and update Shopify 2.0 themes
Assist with Liquid/HTML/CSS edits for troubleshooting or customization
Integrate, manage, and troubleshoot Shopify apps (Klaviyo, ReConvert, AfterSell, tracking apps, reviews apps, etc.)
Optimize store speed, mobile performance, and UX
Support CRO audits, A/B testing setup, and data collection
Create and manage Shopify flows and automations
E-Commerce Operations
Assist with order flow checks, tracking updates, and fulfillment-related troubleshooting
Perform data entry, maintain organized records, track SKUs, and ensure product accuracy
Prepare reports and assist in coordinating tasks with marketing, development, and customer support teams
Support B2B/wholesale setup, product uploads, and pricing updates when needed
Ongoing Administrative Support
Maintain documentation for store processes and product updates
Ensure accurate implementation of promotional campaigns on Shopify
Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, product, fulfillment, dev) to ensure smooth execution
Required Skills
2+ years proven experience managing Shopify stores
(DTC, dropshipping, or e-commerce)
Strong understanding of
Shopify 2.0
, sections, templates, metafields, and theme customizations
Ability to make front-end edits using
Liquid, HTML, CSS
(basic JS is a plus)
Experience with
Klaviyo, ReConvert, AfterSell, GemPages, and other Shopify apps
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to troubleshoot Shopify issues quickly and effectively
Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Comfortable working with technical documentation and following SOPs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
supplements, wellness, or regulated product industries
Familiarity with
Shopify Plus
Understanding of
CRO principles
