About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Shopify Intern who has prior experience working on Shopify stores. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Shopify's ecosystem, themes, and apps. This internship is ideal for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience and grow their skills in eCommerce development and design.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up and customizing Shopify stores Modify existing Shopify themes based on design requirements Add products, collections, and other store elements Troubleshoot issues related to themes, layout, or third-party apps Support the team with daily maintenance of live Shopify sites Collaborate with designers, content writers, and the marketing team for store updates Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility Optimize page load speed and performance Assist in integrating basic Shopify apps and third-party tools

Requirements:

6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience with Shopify Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language) Familiarity with Shopify admin panel and store setup Ability to install and configure Shopify themes and apps Good eye for design, layout, and user experience Ability to troubleshoot and solve minor technical issues Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced eCommerce environment

Good to Have:

Understanding of SEO basics and site speed optimization Knowledge of Shopify 2.0 themes and custom sections
