Key Skills and Responsibities

Shopify Development & Customization

Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes, templates, and Liquid code.

Integrate apps, APIs, and custom functionalities.

Ensure responsive, mobile-friendly, and cross-browser-compatible designs.

Optimize site speed and performance.

Technical SEO Implementation

Optimize website structure, meta tags, schema markup, and URL architecture.

Ensure proper implementation of redirects, canonical tags, and XML sitemaps.

Monitor and resolve technical SEO issues (broken links, crawl errors, etc.).

Improve Core Web Vitals and page load speed.

E-commerce Optimization

Implement conversion-focused design and UX improvements.

Set up and manage product data, collections, and variants.

Integrate payment gateways, shipping rules, and checkout processes.

Analytics & Reporting

Set up Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other tracking tools.

Generate SEO performance reports and provide actionable insights.

Track and improve organic traffic and keyword rankings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience developing Shopify stores (custom themes, Liquid coding, app integrations).

Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid.

Proficient in technical SEO best practices and tools (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).

Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, and Tag Manager.

Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, structured data, and site speed optimization.

Familiarity with Shopify Plus, headless commerce, or other e-commerce platforms is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with JSON, API integrations, or headless Shopify setups.

Graphic design skills (Photoshop, Figma, Canva) for light visual adjustments.

Knowledge of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) strategies.

Understanding of accessibility compliance (WCAG).
