Shopify Lead Developer (Team Lead - eCommerce Projects)

We are seeking an experienced

Shopify Expert

who can not only build high-performing eCommerce stores but also lead and mentor a small development team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and guide a team of Shopify developers and designers to deliver top-quality eCommerce solutions. Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes using

Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

. Oversee

store setup, app integrations, and performance optimization

. Ensure high-quality code delivery, version control, and adherence to project timelines. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment. Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting, and mentorship to the team.

Requirements

Minimum

4 years of hands-on Shopify development experience

. Proficiency in

Shopify Liquid

, metafields, JSON templates, and dynamic sections. Strong background in

custom theme development

and

Figma to Shopify conversions

. Demonstrated experience in

team leadership or coordination

. In-depth understanding of

Shopify apps, APIs

, and

performance best practices

. Excellent

communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Experience with

Shopify Plus

or

headless builds

(Hydrogen / Next.js). Knowledge of

SEO

and

CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)

. Familiarity with

Git

,

Trello

,

Asana

, or similar project management tools.
