Our client is an Australian company, a leader in their industry, seeking an experienced and highly skilled Shopify E-commerce Specialist to join their team remotely from India.

Fixed 5-day working week, Monday to Friday, with a day shift

THE ROLE:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performing Shopify e-commerce stores, customising themes, integrating third-party apps, managing product listings and feeds, and optimising for SEO and site performance. The role also includes working closely with the marketing team to align content with campaigns, implement tracking and remarketing tools, and ensure consistent visual and brand representation across the platform.

Role & responsibilities:-

Develop and maintain customised Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Create and manage product pages, collections, and landing pages to support e-commerce and marketing goals. Integrate third-party Shopify apps and APIs to extend store functionality and improve performance. Optimise Shopify websites for SEO, including meta tags, schema markup, URL structure, and page speed. Design and implement Google Ads tracking and remarketing tags directly within the Shopify platform. Set up and manage product feeds for Google Shopping and social media platforms through Shopify. Develop campaign-specific landing pages and promo sections for social media and paid marketing efforts. Create custom graphics and banners for the Shopify store, aligned with brand and seasonal campaigns. Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility across all Shopify themes and components. Collaborate with the marketing team to sync Shopify content with ad creatives and social media promotions. Monitor and troubleshoot Shopify store issues, including performance, user experience, and integrations. Maintain brand consistency across all Shopify assets, including homepage, collection layouts, and promotional pages.

Preferred candidate profile:

7 to 10 years of proven experience in Shopify web development. Strong command over Liquid templating, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience in customising and developing Shopify themes from scratch. Good understanding of SEO principles and performance optimisation in Shopify. Experience with Google Ads pixel setup, Google Shopping feed, and tracking tools in Shopify. Ability to create visually appealing graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva. Familiarity with integrating third-party Shopify apps and APIs. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup. Knowledge of the 4x4 and camping industry is a plus, but not essential.
