Job Title: Shopify E-Commerce (Remote, India) MUST be fluent in English

Hoc-Age home decor is a manufacturing company with deep roots in India and international reach. We design, produce, and export premium home furnishings. As we expand our direct-to-consumer & digital presence, we need someone who can bring our brand online at scale on Shopify.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Shopify expert to build, maintain, and grow our Shopify storefront(s). You will be the technical and strategic lead for our online store, working closely with design, product, operations, and marketing teams to deliver a seamless, high-converting shopping experience.Though based in India, this is a

remote

role. You can work from anywhere in India, as long as you coordinate well with teams and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and customize Shopify stores (themes, Liquid, apps, checkout, payment gateways) Translate our product lines (textiles, home decor) into appealing, conversion-optimized product pages and collections Optimize site performance: page speed, mobile responsiveness, caching, image optimization Integrate & manage apps (email, reviews, upsell/cross-sell, loyalty, etc.) Set up analytics and tracking (e.g. GA4, Shopify Analytics, events) and generate insight reports Collaborate with operations/production teams to sync inventory, orders, shipping workflows Test and iterate landing pages, funnels, checkout flows, A/B tests Troubleshoot site issues, ensure robust uptime, handle escalations Stay updated on Shopify ecosystem, new features, relevant e-commerce trends (Optional) Lead migrations from other platforms or multi-store setups

What We're Looking For

Proven hands-on experience managing Shopify stores (setup, theme customization, integrations) Proficiency in Liquid, HTML/CSS/JS -- ability to modify themes and add custom functionality Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics (conversion rate, AOV, basket abandonment) Experience with performance optimization, mobile UX, SEO in Shopify context Ability to work cross-functionally and manage communication across remote & in-house teams Excellent spoken & written English Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Bonus: experience in home decor, textiles, or consumer goods categories Bonus: experience with ERP/ERP integration, drop-shipping, international shipping
