About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Shopify Developer who can take complete ownership of building and managing our end-to-end eCommerce portal. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Shopify (theme development, Liquid programming, and app integrations) and the ability to deliver a seamless, high-performing online store. Prior experience in jewelry or apparel eCommerce is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities

Own and deliver the full lifecycle of our Shopify-based eCommerce portal -- from concept, setup, customization, and launch to scaling and maintenance.

Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive, user-friendly, and high-converting storefronts.

Develop, test, and maintain Shopify apps and plugins (custom or third-party).

Integrate secure and scalable payment gateways, shipping APIs, inventory systems, and third-party apps.

Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.

Collaborate with design, marketing, and business teams to implement UI/UX features, landing pages, promotional campaigns, and product catalogs.

Troubleshoot technical issues and implement robust error-handling and debugging practices.

Ensure data security, backups, and compliance with industry standards.

Track, analyze, and enhance customer journeys to boost conversions and sales.

Required Skills & Experience

2-6 years of hands-on Shopify development experience.

Strong knowledge of Shopify platform, including Liquid template language, Polaris, Shopify CLI, and metafields.

Expertise in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery.

Experience with Shopify Plus, custom apps, and REST/GraphQL APIs.

Knowledge of Headless Shopify (Next.js/React) is a strong plus.

Proficiency in payment gateways, logistics integrations, and ERP/CRM connectors.

Strong grasp of SEO best practices and eCommerce analytics.

Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate with design teams.

Bonus: Prior work in Jewelry, Apparel, or Fashion eCommerce verticals.
