Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled

Shopify Developer

who will be responsible for developing, customizing, and enhancing our clients' e-commerce storefronts on Shopify and Shopify Plus. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Liquid programming, theme development, and modern front-end technologies, with the ability to work collaboratively and deliver solutions within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain

Shopify and Shopify Plus

themes using the

Liquid

template language.
Create

custom-tailored Shopify themes

and modify pre-existing templates as required.
Act as a

Shopify expert

, handling all facets of the e-commerce platform including integrations, app setups, and performance optimization.
Install, configure, and customize

new Shopify themes

based on project requirements.
Implement responsive, high-performing web pages using

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery

.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end and back-end issues.
Work with version control systems such as

Git

and

Bitbucket

.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and digital strategists.
Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining top-tier code quality.
Maintain high standards of communication, professionalism, and accountability.

Add-on/Preferred Requirements

Experience with

digital product e-commerce

workflows and features.
Hands-on experience in

Shopify theme customization

, including building custom sections, filters, and layouts.
Knowledge or experience with

Elasticsearch

and advanced search/filter customization.
Understanding of secure server environments such as

or equivalent systems.
Experience implementing

subscription models

and recurring billing setups in Shopify.
Exposure to other e-commerce platforms such as

Magento, WooCommerce, Big Commerce
