Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design

Define end-to-end Shopify Plus architecture, including storefront, backend services, integrations, and apps. Design scalable, extensible, and maintainable Shopify Plus solutions that align with business goals. Own and evolve the Shopify technical roadmap, ensuring platform modernization and alignment with best practices.

Platform Leadership

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Shopify Plus, including Liquid templating and headless commerce frameworks (Hydrogen, Storefront API). Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, Shopify apps, custom modules, and third-party systems such as ERP, PIM, CRM, and OMS. Provide strategic input on SEO best practices, performance optimization, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.

Development Oversight

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend/backend developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers. Lead technical discovery phases, create documentation, and deliver prototypes. Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce coding standards, security protocols, and performance benchmarks.

DevOps & CI/CD

Partner with DevOps teams to establish robust CI/CD pipelines for efficient Shopify code deployments. Define Git workflows, branching strategies, and release management processes for multi-environment development.

Stakeholder Engagement

Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions, ensuring consistent alignment with stakeholders. Provide expert advice on third-party services, platform capabilities, and solution feasibility. Ensure compliance with ISMS (Information Security Management System) policies and procedures.

Mandatory Skills

Extensive experience with Shopify Plus architecture and development. Strong command of Liquid templating, headless commerce (Hydrogen, Storefront API), and integration methodologies. Proven leadership in technical planning, design, and implementation of Shopify-based solutions.
Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ?150,000.00 - ?200,000.00 per month
