Position Overview

The Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to balance operational efficiency with a welcoming shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

Supervise day-to-day store activities, including opening/closing procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and local laws. Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and reduce shrinkage.

Sales & Customer Service

Drive sales targets and implement promotional strategies. Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve complaints effectively. Analyze sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Team Leadership

Recruit, train, and supervise store staff. Schedule shifts and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations. Motivate and coach employees to achieve performance goals.

Financial Management

Oversee cash handling, banking, and financial reporting. Manage budgets, control expenses, and maximize profitability.

Visual Merchandising

Ensure the store layout and displays are attractive and aligned with brand standards. Implement seasonal promotions and product placements.
Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in retail management or supervisory role. Strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of inventory management and retail software systems. Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions. Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours when required.
