Job Description

1. Supervision & Daily Operations

Oversee the

day-to-day activities

of the shop floor or outlet. Allocate

tasks and duties

to workers or sales staff based on workload and priorities. Monitor

attendance, punctuality, and discipline

of all team members. Ensure smooth workflow and resolve operational issues promptly.

2. Production / Sales Management

(Depending on whether it's a manufacturing shop or retail store)

For Production / Workshop:

Plan and monitor

production schedules

, job orders, and material usage. Ensure

machines and tools

are in proper working condition. Maintain

quality standards

for all output. Coordinate with the

store and purchase departments

for raw material availability.

For Retail / Outlet:

Supervise

sales, billing, and stock display

. Track

daily sales reports

, manage targets, and encourage staff performance. Handle

customer inquiries and complaints

professionally. Ensure shop cleanliness, product arrangement, and visual appeal.

3. Stock & Inventory Management

Maintain

accurate inventory records

of materials or products. Regularly conduct

stock verification / audits

. Monitor stock levels and raise

reorder requests

in time. Prevent

stock loss, damage, or wastage

through proper handling.

4. Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to

safety protocols

and company policies. Maintain

fire safety, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance

. Report any

accidents or near-misses

immediately to management.

5. Team Coordination & Training

Guide, train, and motivate staff for better efficiency. Conduct

regular team meetings

to communicate goals and issues. Evaluate staff performance and suggest improvements or rewards.

6. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain

daily/weekly reports

(production, sales, attendance, stock). Update management on

progress, issues, and resource needs

. Ensure proper documentation of all inward/outward materials and job cards.

7. Customer & Vendor Interaction (if applicable)

Coordinate with

vendors/suppliers

for material delivery or product supply. Handle

customer orders, feedback, and after-sales support

.

Skills Required
