Summary The Shipping manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipping operations within the warehouse. This includes coordinating shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries, and supervising a team of shipping associates. Plan and coordinate daily shipping activities to meet customer requirements and deadlines Assign tasks and monitor the performance of shipping associates to ensure efficiency and productivity Verify and prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs forms Inspect and ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile any discrepancies Maintain accurate shipping records and prepare reports on shipping activities Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and safety standards Train and mentor shipping associates on proper procedures and best practices Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to streamline shipping operations Requirements High school diploma or equivalent additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus Experience in a shipping or logistics role, with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity In-depth knowledge of shipping procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements Proficient in using shipping software and systems, such as ERP(SAP) or WMS Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipping documentation Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage a team Korean Language Skills Are Preferred Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to shipping and handling of goods
