The Pricing Executive is responsible for analysing market trends, competitor pricing, and cost factors to develop accurate and competitive pricing structures. The role ensures timely release of quotes, supports sales teams with price-related queries, maintains pricing databases, and contributes to profitability and revenue growth
1. Pricing & Quotation Management
Prepare, review, and release customer quotations and pricing proposals in coordination with Sales, Procurement, and Management.
Maintain accurate pricing records, rate sheets, and customer-specific tariffs.
Ensure pricing accuracy based on cost, market conditions, margins, and company policies.
2. Cost & Market Analysis
Analyse cost structures including freight, shipping, logistics, packaging, taxes, duties, and operational expenses.
Monitor industry price trends, competitor pricing, and market fluctuations to suggest adjustments.
3. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Procurement for pricing inputs and approval.
Respond to internal and customer pricing queries in a timely manner.
4. Data Management & Reporting
Maintain and update pricing databases and CRM/ERP entries.
Prepare periodic pricing analysis reports, margin analysis, and cost variance reports.
Track pricing performance and highlight areas for improvement.
5. Compliance & Process Improvement
Ensure pricing adherence to company policies, approval matrix, and commercial guidelines.
Suggest improvements for faster quote turnaround and better price accuracy.
