Job Description

A Shipping Agency Manager coordinates the activities of a shipping agency, including cargo and vessel operations. They are responsible for managing personnel, coordinating with other departments, and developing and maintaining relationships with various clients. Location : Visakhapatnam TheShippingAgencyManager\xe2\x80\x99s main duties include: Overseeing the daily operations of a shipping agency Ensuring that all cargo is handled in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner Liaising with clients to ensure satisfaction with services provided Developing and executing strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations Trainingandmanagingstafftoensurequalitystandardsaremet Negotiating and managing contracts with vendors, customers, and other third parties Ensuring that customer service levels are met Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, shippers, and other stakeholders Monitoringandcontrollingthebudgetandexpensesoftheshippingagency Reviewing financial reports and taking corrective actions as neededMust have excellent organizational skills, be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and have strong problem solving abilities. Musthaveanexcellentunderstandingoftheshippingindustryanditsregulations, as well as be able to work well under pressure. Musthaveexcellentcommunicationskillsandbeabletointeracteffectivelywithallpartiesinvolvedintheshippingprocess. Must be Responsible for ensuring that all documents related to the shipping process are accurate and complete. Must be responsiblefortrackingthevessel\'s progress and ensuring that all paperwork is in order. Must be responsibleformanagingcostsandensuringthattheshippingprocessisefficientandcost-effective. Job Type: Full-time Salary: 925,000.00 - 940,000.00 per month Benefits:
