Responsible for supervising CNC/VMC operators and labour during the shift, ensuring production targets, machining quality, safety, and smooth shop-floor operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Allocate and monitor daily tasks for CNC/VMC machines and labour.
Ensure production output meets shift targets and schedules.
Maintain shift handover and production records.
Conduct in-process inspections and verify operator measurements.
Coordinate with QC for final inspection.
Train team on machining processes, quality awareness, and 5S.
Enforce safety rules and proper PPE usage.
Maintain cleanliness and organization on the shop floor.
Qualifications:
Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Production, or related field.
1-3 years' experience in CNC/VMC or foundry machining environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
