Key Responsibilities

Report to the Production Manager; in their absence, report to the Plant In-Charge. Plan and execute production activities in coordination with Production Manager/Plant In-Charge. Ensure proper maintenance of department, premises, and equipment as per SOP and GMP standards. Support qualification and validation activities related to equipment, utilities, processes, and cleaning. Report any deviations or incidents promptly to Production Manager/Plant In-Charge. Ensure correct labelling and compliance with approved manufacturing processes. Review and verify batch production records and process-related documents. Maintain updated records of all ongoing activities. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for deviations, incidents, complaints, and audits. Coordinate with all relevant departments for smooth production operations. Work closely with Engineering & Maintenance for preventive maintenance and breakdown resolution. Communicate manpower and resource requirements to management. Provide effective leadership, ensuring safety, discipline, and high work standards. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and GMP norms. Supervise and allocate manpower across shifts efficiently. Maintain housekeeping and system implementation in the production area. Drive productivity, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and train manpower for multitasking and packaging operations.
