We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused

Shift Manager

to oversee daily operations at our ice cream shop. In this role, you'll ensure a smooth and efficient shift by supervising staff, maintaining high service standards, and supporting a fun, clean, and welcoming environment for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Supervise, support, and motivate crew members during shifts. Ensure team members follow company policies, procedures, and service standards. Provide on-the-job coaching and feedback to team members.

Customer Service:

Deliver exceptional customer experiences through the Cold Stone "10-Minute Vacation" philosophy. Handle customer concerns professionally and promptly. Maintain a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment.

Operations Management:

Oversee product preparation, quality, and presentation during shifts. Ensure store cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained. Manage inventory levels and notify management of supply needs. Open and/or close the store, following proper procedures.

Cash Handling:

Perform register transactions accurately and efficiently. Reconcile cash drawers and prepare daily shift reports.

Training and Development:

Assist in onboarding and training new crew members. Model Cold Stone Creamery's values, performance standards, and customer service behaviours.

Health & Safety:

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Ensure staff compliance with cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a retail, food service, or supervisory role preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and cash handling skills. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
