Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise all production operations (liquid, powder, granules, EC, SC, WP, etc.) during the shift. Allocate manpower and ensure optimal utilization of resources. Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to batch manufacturing records (BMR). Ensure shift production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines. Enforce safety protocols, PPE usage, and statutory compliance (including EHS guidelines). Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and logistics teams for smooth operations. Maintain proper documentation of shift activities (production logs, breakdown records, etc.) Train and guide operators and helpers. Report shift-wise production data and issues to the Production Manager.

Qualifications:

Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or relevant discipline. Sound knowledge of agrochemical formulation processes (wet/dry formulations, packaging). Familiarity with ISO, EHS, and statutory requirements. Basic knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is a plus.
