Job Summary

The Shift Incharge - Blending is responsible for supervising and controlling blending operations during the assigned shift to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety norms are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage blending operations during the assigned shift. Ensure correct formulation, batching, and blending as per production plans and SOPs. Monitor process parameters and ensure consistent product quality. Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations. Handle shift manpower allocation and guide operators for optimal productivity. Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards. Maintain production records, batch reports, and shift logs accurately. Identify process deviations and take corrective and preventive actions. Support troubleshooting of blending-related process issues. Ensure housekeeping and 5S compliance in the blending area.

Desired Skills & Competencies

Good knowledge of polymer/chemical blending processes and raw materials. Understanding of process control, quality standards, and SOP compliance. Ability to handle shift operations and shop-floor manpower. Basic knowledge of safety practices and industrial regulations. Strong communication and coordination skills. Problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Shift & Work Conditions

Willingness to work in rotational shifts. Exposure to plant/shop-floor manufacturing environment.
