Role Overview

The Shift Incharge will be responsible for supervising and controlling the complete operations of the Paper Machine during the assigned shift. The role includes achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, ensuring proper manpower handling, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Production

Supervise Paper Machine operations including Machine Area, Roll Winding, Wet End, and Dry End. Ensure smooth, continuous machine running and address operational issues promptly. Coordinate with stock shift incharge to maintain proper chemical dosing and standard norms. Communicate with other departments regarding product quality, order size, and production requirements.
Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily logbooks, timekeeping, and personnel records for the shift. Provide necessary operational updates to seniors during shift handover.
Quality, Safety & Housekeeping

Ensure adherence to quality parameters and support improvement initiatives. Maintain proper housekeeping in the work area throughout the shift. Participate in daily 5S activities and promote 5S practices among the team.
Team Management & Improvement

Conduct continuous rounds of the area to identify issues and take timely action. Provide suggestions for improving plant performance, product quality, machinery efficiency, and production output. Handle shift activities efficiently, especially under pressure.
Desired Skills

Strong knowledge of paper machine operations. Good communication and coordination skills. Understanding of 5S principles and willingness to learn. Leadership skills with problem-solving ability.

Pay: ?500,000.00 - ?700,000.00 per year
