Shift Engineer - Multilayer Sheet Extrusion Plant

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Polymer / Plastics Engineering OR Diploma from

CIPET / reputed institute

Experience:

1 to 3 years

of hands-on experience in

Multilayer Sheet Extrusion Machine operations

Experience with materials:

HIPS, ABS, PP -Thickness of sheet -0.5 mm to 5 MM

Willingness to work in shifts

Ability to understand technical drawings

& Responsibilities:

Set up and operate extrusion machines through operators as per production schedules and product specifications. Load raw materials into the hopper of extrusion machines. Adjust machine settings including

temperature, pressure, and speed

to optimize the extrusion process. Monitor the extrusion process continuously and make necessary adjustments to ensure

product quality and operational efficiency

. Prepare daily reports using

Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

and present updates in daily review meetings. Develop

standardized work instructions, SOPs, and training materials

for operators. Properly hand over charge to the next shift engineer with complete reporting and ensure continuity of operations. Do not leave the workplace until the next shift engineer reports for duty.
