Job Description

*Job Title: Sheetmetal Design Engineer

This is a full-time, office-based role where the candidate will lead and oversee the preparation of technical drawings and design documentation for domestic and international projects.

*Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute precise cutting and bending plans for sheet metal components based on engineering drawings and fabrication requirements.

- Lead the creation of detailed 2D/3D technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA

- Translate complex design concepts into precise documentation and guide junior engineers in execution

- Review and approve design documentation for domestic and overseas projects

- Ensure timely revisions and updates to drawings based on project feedback and evolving requirements

- Maintain and oversee organized records of drawings, revisions, and supporting documents

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate design accuracy, feasibility, and manufacturability

- Manage multiple high-priority design tasks while ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards

- Mentor junior designers and contribute to continuous improvement in design processes

*Tools & Skills:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA -- mandatory

- Effective use of MS Office tools for documentation and reporting

- Experience with design management tools or platforms -- mandatory

- Strong understanding of GD&T and precision in technical drawings

- ₹20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month

*Qualification Required:

- Diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering

- Minimum 1 year experience in Sheet Metal Design

- 1-5 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD drafting

- Proven leadership in design execution and documentation
