Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Sheet Metal Quality Manager

with strong expertise in

stamping, forming, trimming, and tool development

. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, process control, and continuous improvement across all sheet metal operations while meeting customer and IATF/ISO requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage quality assurance activities for

sheet metal stamping, forming, trimming and rabbeting processes

Develop, implement, and maintain

quality systems and procedures

as per IATF 16949 / ISO standards Ensure

process capability, control plans, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC

implementation Coordinate with

tool design and development teams

to ensure tooling quality, try-outs, and validation Handle

customer quality issues

, complaints, and audits; ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D) Monitor

incoming, in-process, and final inspection

activities Drive

continuous improvement initiatives

to reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints Support new product development (NPD) and trial approvals Train and guide quality inspectors and engineers Liaise with production, tooling, and maintenance teams to ensure process stability
Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong hands-on experience in

sheet metal stamping, forming, trimming and ribbeting processes

In-depth knowledge of

tool development, die design basics, try-outs, and tool corrections

Expertise in

IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D

Ability to read and interpret

engineering drawings and GD&T

Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
Educational Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Preferred Background

Experience in

automotive sheet metal / stamping industry

Exposure to

OEM or Tier-1 supplier quality systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?100,000.00 per month
