Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components according to blueprints, technical drawings, or customer specifications. This role involves working with a variety of materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, using tools like shears, brakes, rollers, and welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools. Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, press brakes, punch presses, and rollers. Perform welding, riveting, and soldering as required. Assemble parts and structures by bolting, riveting, or welding. Ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to improve processes.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification is a plus. Minimum [2] years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related field. Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Skilled in the use of fabrication tools and machinery. Experience with MIG/TIG welding is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team. Knowledge of shop math and material properties. Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
