Job Description

:

• Conduct weekly / monthly Electrical Safety inspection / Audit and recommends corrective action.
• Prepare Electrical safety reports and forwarded to concerned department and follow up for implementation.
• Ensuring Electrical installation are as per IS standard including compliance with statutory requirements.
• Participate in preparation of Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) for critical activities and assists Chief SHE Manager in compiling comprehensive hazards list.

• Electrical accidents investigation findings and remedy
• Adequacy of power generation and power requirements
• Power distribution and transmission system in place
• Updated electrical single line diagram showing the current condition of power source and distribution including the IP44 DBs arrangement.
• Electrical protection devices - selection, installation and maintenance.
• Earth or ground connection and earth pit maintenance details
• Education and training of electrical personnel undertaken.
• Routine electrical inspection details
• Electrical maintenance system and register.
• Name plate details of major electrical equipment
• Classified zones in the site, if any.
