Job Summary



We are seeking an experienced Setup Manager to lead and coordinate the end-to-end setup of serviced apartment projects -- ensuring every unit is 100% ready for client handover and move-in.

This includes overseeing civil and finishing rectifications before handover, complete furnishing, and installation of all items -- from furniture and fixtures to soft furnishings, electronics, crockery, linens, and toiletries -- ensuring the apartments meet hotel-grade readiness and brand standards.

Projects include:



Long-Stay Apartments - Individual serviced units mainly in metro cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai. With support of local team. Short-Stay or Hotel-Type Projects - Large buildings with multiple serviced apartments operated by the company. For such large setups in other cities, the Setup Manager will travel and stay on-site until the project is completed.
This role requires excellent field execution, coordination with internal teams (Design, Procurement, Project, Operations), and clear client communication. The position is based at Relomi HQ, Powai, Mumbai, with travel as required.

Key Responsibilities



Lead complete setup execution for serviced apartments -- from pre-handover inspections to final readiness. Oversee civil fixes, minor repairs, paint touch-ups, electrical/plumbing rectifications before property handover. Supervise furniture placement, installation of appliances, curtains etc. Coordinate purchase and delivery with the Procurement Manager to ensure timely material availability. Ensure each apartment is fully equipped with essentials -- crockery, cutlery, glassware, kitchen items, toiletries, linens-- before handover. Maintain checklists, daily progress reports, and photo documentation for each project. Coordinate with the Client Relations team to understand specific client requirements and incorporate them into the setup. Conduct quality and readiness checks to ensure all apartments are clean, functional, and aesthetically ready for occupation. Handle handover documentation, readiness sign-offs, and final walkthroughs with internal QA or clients. Travel and stay at project sites (for short-stay/hotel-type setups) until project completion, then report back to HQ for coordination of upcoming projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Minimum 5 years of experience in property setup, pre-opening, or hospitality operations, preferably in serviced apartments, hotels, or interiors. Strong understanding of fit-out work, furnishings, and operational readiness. Excellent coordination, communication (spoken and written English), and reporting skills. Ability to manage multiple sites and tight project timelines. Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and ERP / Project Management tools. Professional email and client communication ability. Willingness to travel and stay at project sites across India when required.
