Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Concept Development:

Visualize, conceptualize, and sketch stage setups, immersive spaces, and event environments. Translate event briefs and creative themes into tangible spatial designs. Design for weddings, brand launches, concerts, fashion shows, exhibitions, theatre shows, and more.

Set & Prop Design:

Create 2D/3D renderings for stages, installations, immersive props, lounges, and experience zones. Design functional and aesthetic stage backdrops, bars, arches, entrances, and thematic setups.

Technical & Production Collaboration:

Work closely with production teams, fabrication vendors, lighting designers, and AV teams to ensure feasibility and integrity of design execution. Attend site recces and offer layout solutions based on event flow and technical constraints.

Execution & Supervision:

Be present on-ground during setup and execution to ensure quality, detailing, and timely completion. Suggest on-site improvisations and supervise design-sensitive installations.

Documentation & Presentation:

Prepare mood boards, reference decks, design presentations, and technical layouts for internal and client approvals. Maintain and regularly update a detailed design portfolio.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's / Master's Degree or Diploma in: Set Design / Theatre Design Architecture / Interior Design Event Design / Production Design Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Design Communication

Preferred Background:

Strong understanding of theatre and live performance set design Experience in luxury weddings, corporate events, and IP-based shows is an advantage

Software Skills Required:

Mandatory:

AutoCAD SketchUp / 3Ds Max / Rhino Lumion / V-Ray / Enscape for rendering Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign Microsoft PowerPoint or Keynote (for presentations)

Optional:

Blender / Cinema 4D Canva (for quick layouts)

Personal Attributes:

Strong aesthetic sense and eye for detail Team player with the ability to manage timelines and revisions Passionate about design, theatre, and live experiences Comfortable with tight turnarounds and long setup hours Willing to travel for projects (domestic and international)

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
