Job Description

The Services Hub Leader will be responsible for managing and operating multiple windfarms, involves driving operational rigor and efficiency, fostering a culture of safety among the site team, people management and managing customer issues, escalations and ensuring exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of wind turbine technology, exceptional people management skills, site management experience and a proactive approach to resource planning and process standardization.

Roles and Responsibilities



Management of Operation & Maintenance of multiple windfarms. Management and oversight of the site management teams and serve as a primary customer interface for complex operational matters. Manage assigned O&M KPIs at hub level to improve operational efficiency and performance. Ensure high availability, minimize downtime to meet performance targets. Liaison with internal functions to support site activities that require support related to complex issues impacting site operations and related customer interface. Excellent knowledge on wind turbine technology and it's component details like gearbox, DFIG generators, blades etc. Plan and allocate labor and parts; ensure timely execution of corrective, preventive, and retrofit activities. Proactively anticipate and manage risks related to customers, contracts, and compliance by identifying potential issues and taking appropriate actions. Independently manage customer issues and contractual matters using effective problem-solving skills. Ensure contractual operational rigor and effective customer interfaces. Manage technical coordination with FPM team and remote operation centers for site issues. Have strong people management skills to manage team comprises of both GE Vernova and supplier Techs. Educate/update team about GE Vernova processes, procedures, instructions for technical, safety and business awareness topics. Manage performance development and ensure employees get platform and opportunity to demonstrate their contribution. Champion a strong safety culture; conduct regular audits/Genba walks; ensure compliance with EHS standards, instructions, and guidelines.

Required Qualifications



B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics Engg. (EEE) With 10-15 years of work experience in wind energy industry with Min 5 years of experience in with site management role. Travel required upto 50% on sites based in India

Excellent Verbal and written communication skills in English, ensuring effective interaction and clear documentation. Proven experience in managing and operating windfarms. Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine technology and components. Excellent people management and leadership skills. Experience in establishing and standardizing processes such as ISO, Kaizen, and 5S. Proficiency in managing cross-functional coordination and customer communications. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Commitment to safety and compliance with EHS standards and procedures. Ability / Willingness to travel domestic and International.
