The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting ServiceNow applications and modules. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, implementing technical solutions, maintaining platform stability, and ensuring alignment with ITSM best practices and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Understanding of ITSM, CSM, and Problem Management modules of ServiceNow.
Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Catalog, and Portal using JavaScript, Glide, HTML, CSS.
Build workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI policies, access controls, and knowledge base content.
Integrate ServiceNow with third party systems using REST and SOAP APIs, scripted web services, and other integration mechanisms.
Perform platform upgrades, instance maintenance, health checks, and troubleshooting activities to ensure performance, stability, and reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create proof of concepts, support solution design, UAT testing, deployment phases, and post deployment activities.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, conduct user training sessions, and support go live and hypercare activities.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum two years of hands on experience in ServiceNow configuration and development.
Proficient in JavaScript, Glide scripting, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS with working knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
Experience with Service Catalog, CMDB, reporting, dashboards, and ITIL processes.
Strong problem solving abilities, communication skills, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to triage and troubleshoot incidents, resolve service disruptions, and perform
